There are nights you remember. And then there are nights that transform you. NOMAD, Journey to the Origin is the new super production of Sala Scala Gran Canaria, and it is not simply a dinner show. It is a complete sensory journey where art and gastronomy merge into a single narrative. Starting May 28, 2026, you can live this unique experience on nights from Thursday to Sunday.
A three-hour date that changes everything
For approximately 3 hours, the stage and your table become the same universe. The Dinner Show option allows you to enjoy an exclusive tasting menu while witnessing a production that brings together more than 30 international artists on stage. It is not a dinner with a show in the background. It is a spectacle where each dish has its moment and each acrobatic move finds its rhythm on your palate.
What makes the NOMAD Dinner Show unique?
A staging you cannot ignore: Under the direction of Israel Reyes (former director of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Carnival), the stage is continuously transformed with videomapping, more than 20 metres of LED screens, and special effects. An imposing three-metre-tall corporeal mask acts as the silent guardian of the journey, guiding the artists and the audience through a non-linear experience that crosses Europe, Africa, and America.
The soundtrack that unites generations: Forget abstract music. NOMAD connects with you through global hits you recognise and that make you vibrate. Songs by Prince, Lady Gaga, Adele, and Bruno Mars will be heard, fused with traditional Canarian rhythms and essences from the three continents. There are even nods to traditions like the Canarian Rama.
A menu that is part of the journey: The gastronomic proposal of the Dinner Show has been designed to accompany each stage of the scenic journey. The tasting menu includes:
- Europe: Tortello stuffed with ricotta, sun-dried tomatoes, and basil with pesto sauce
- Africa: Spiced Masai skewer with caramelised onion and couscous
- America: Tropical Universe dessert by Yeray Reyes
- Vegan, children's, and gluten-free options are available
