The new production from Sala Scala Gran Canaria, NOMAD, Journey to the Origin, is an explosion of energy, talent, and technology that will transport you across three continents without moving from your seat. Forget traditional shows. This is an immersive experience designed to be felt, not just watched.

Starting May 28, 2026, the Solo Show option allows you to access the very heart of this avant-garde proposal, focusing solely on the artistic and scenic power for approximately 3 hours of continuous performance.

What awaits you inside NOMAD?

An Unprecedented Artistic Display: On stage, more than 30 international artists (singers, dancers, and acrobats) bring to life a journey that starts from the Canary Islands as a crossroads and expands through Europe, Africa, and America. The director, Israel Reyes (former director of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Carnival), has created a narrative that breaks the mould: there is no linear story, but an emotional journey guided by an imposing three-metre-tall corporeal mask that acts as the silent guardian of the journey.

Music You Recognise and That Moves You: The soundtrack is one of NOMAD's great secrets. Far from being abstract or purely folkloric, the show connects with the audience through global hits. You will hear iconic songs by artists such as Prince, Lady Gaga, Adele, and Bruno Mars, fused with traditional Canarian rhythms and African and American essences. There are even nods to traditions like the Canarian Rama.

Live Technology and Acrobatics: The staging is a true visual spectacle. Over 20 metres of LED screens, videomapping systems, state-of-the-art lighting, and special effects envelop the entire theatre, creating landscapes that change in an instant. Meanwhile, the artists defy gravity with acrobatics and high-voltage dance numbers that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
