Do you want to get to know one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Gran Canaria? Get to know the Cultural Landscape of Risco Caído and the Sacred Mountains in Artenara!
Located in the Tamadaba Massif, its extension covers several municipalities such as Tejeda, Gáldar and Agaete and has been consecrated as the first World Heritage Site of the island; so you can't miss our walk!
This activity takes place in the centre of the island in small groups of up to 8 people and you will not only learn about the history and curiosities of the Risco Caído but you will also get to know the aboriginal archaeological sites. For our route we can go in two directions: up through Fagajesto and walk along the north side of the Risco Caído Cultural Landscape or walk along the west side visiting El Roque Bentaiga and the Cuevas del Rey (King's Caves). Here you will be able to experience how the Guanches lived in the mountains and the different rooms, while marvelling at the views, images that will undoubtedly stay in your mind!
