Cocodrilo Park

It is the home and refuge for many of those exotic animals that for one reason or another have not been able to survive in their natural environment. Crocodile Park is not a common zoo, as it is home to many different species of animals with very hard stories of abuse and neglect. The money earned from the entrance fees is a great help for these animals to have enough food, veterinary assistance as well as all types of special needs they may require. In addition, the Crocodile Park is one of the largest concentrations of crocodiles found in Europe since the weather conditions of the Canary Islands are perfect for their habitat.

Throughout the complex you can find around 500 animals of different species in an area of 22,000 square meters, including the famous tigers of this zoo: Zak and Simba, the show of the crocodiles, the new area of reptiles where interesting species live, and the birds and parrots, which children can safely interact with to have a great time!

As for the facilities of the Cocodrilo Park enclosure, they're perfectly equipped so that you have at your service everything you need: from a snack bar to recharge your batteries, some rest areas, to a souvenir shop for you to bring back a cute memory of this unforgettable experience.

The entrance to Crocodile Park can be obtained by clicking on this link. With the ticket the entrance to the park is included and the establishment offers a bus service from different points in the south of Gran Canaria: Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from Maspalomas, and from Mogán on Mondays.

Cocodrilo Park is without doubt a place for the youngest to enjoy the surroundings and be in direct contact with the animals, and also to learn the history behind each one of them. It is a perfect plan for a different birthday celebration or a school visit.
