La Vegueta E-bike route

We will start with a brief explanation on how to handle the e-bike, select our helmet and backpack (including a 500 ml bottle of water), and get ready for an experience that combines nature, geology and tradition.

The La Vegueta Route will take you through one of the most authentic and contrasting landscapes of Lanzarote. On board an electric bike, we will explore fields of vineyards growing in volcanic soil, discover one of the longest caves on the island and uncover the secrets of traditional Canarian agriculture. 

During the tour, you will cycle through the emblematic vineyards of La Vegueta, where you will learn about cultivation techniques adapted to the scarcity of water and the harsh volcanic conditions. The contrast between the black of the lava and the green of the vines will provide you with unforgettable postcards.

One of the highlights will be a visit to an impressive volcanic cave, which extends beneath the ground and reveals the geological heart of the island. Inside, you will enter an underground environment filled with stalactites, stalagmites and unique formations created by lava over millennia.

We will continue to the Ermita de Los Dolores, an emblematic enclave surrounded by vineyards and volcanic mountains. From there, we will head to the crater of a volcano, from where you can enjoy panoramic views that include the Timanfaya National Park, Roque Montaña Clara and other nearby islands.

 Thanks to the electric assistance of the bicycles, the route is accessible and comfortable, ideal for those who want a deep connection with the natural and rural landscape of Lanzarote.
