It crosses the island of Lanzarote from South to North passing through Timanfaya, La Geria, Monumento al Campesino and the Mirador del Rio.
The Iron Phoenix tour is a tour of about 180 kilometres in which you will discover Lanzarote in a different way. We start the tour in Yaiza, at the Campo Phoenix facilities where we will be given a brief explanation on how to drive the buggies, once we understand everything, we are on our way!
We head to the north of the island passing through the incredible volcanic landscape of Timanfaya, one of the most emblematic and well known areas of Lanzarote for its unique characteristics that transport you to Mars. We arrive at the Monument to the Peasant, a work of the great César Manrique which aims to praise and recognise the efforts of the farmers of Lanzarote who faced adverse conditions in order to give life to the territory.
On our route we will pass through the municipality of Teguise, the former capital of the island, and also through Haría, better known as the Valley of the 1000 palm trees. We will reach the Mirador del Río viewpoint where we will enjoy one of the most spectacular views of the island of La Graciosa from the north of Lanzarote.
We continue towards the coast, specifically to Arrieta, where we will enjoy some tapas for lunch. Once the lunch break is over we will go to our last stop, La Geria, one of the most striking landscapes on the island of Lanzarote characterized by the peculiar way of cultivation of vineyards, we will enter a winery to appreciate more closely these crops and enjoy the wine tradition. Afterwards, we will return to Yaiza to reach the Campo Phoenix offices and finish the tour.
